LinkedIn Pulse: The birth of the Internet was accompanied by two original sins, according to Walter Isaacson, CEO of the Aspen Institute and former editor of Time and CEO of CNN. “First, we allowed and even indulged anonymity. The other original sin was that most journalistic organizations made their content free when they put it online, and they thought they could survive on advertising revenue alone. We now have to look at the difficult task of trying to put these two genies back in a bottle.”
