Sony Nears Debut of Ultra-High-Def Streaming Service

CNET: If you’ve got a new Sony TV and don’t mind paying $30 to buy a movie, the company’s new Ultra app for its 4K TVs might be for you. Launching April 4, the new streaming service will offer a variety of Sony Pictures films for purchase only at $30 apiece. The service will include new releases like “Concussion,” “The Night Before” and “The Walk,” and library titles such as “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” and “Ghostbusters.”
