New York Post: Barry Levine is leaving the National Enquirer after 17 years at the tabloid. The mag’s executive editor is out after presiding over numerous scoops including John Edwards’ love child, which led to a Pulitzer nomination, the Tiger Woods scandal and Charlie Sheen’s HIV diagnosis. Levine denied rumors he’d been pushed out amid money woes at American Media Inc.
