Bloomberg: Tyler Brule, editor-in-chief at Monocle, looked at the future of print media as the U.K.’s Independent newspaper ended its print edition. “There is money on paper, 100 percent,” he insisted. “Media owners want to think they’re part of the cool kids, tweeting every second of the day, thinking, ‘I don’t want to be associated with print; that’s going to make me look incredibly old.’ That’s one of the big challenges with media companies. You have a lot of people who are not on the right side of innovation making the wrong choices.”
