Yahoo: Softbank Eyes Control of Internet Giant’s Assets

New York Post: SoftBank president Nikesh Arora is said to be in “active” discussions with Yahoo’s board, which includes CEO Marissa Mayer. “They are figuring out a solution for the whole,” said a source, adding, “Things are quite active.” The Japanese telecom giant would be in the catbird seat if it can make a deal with Yahoo, according to sources.  The company already holds a 36.4 stake in Yahoo Japan.
