ABC: Kelly Ripa’s Absence from ‘Live’ Points to Rancor

New York Times: Michael Strahan is shifting assignments on ABC’s morning lineup, leaving “Live: Kelly and Michael” to become a co-anchor on “Good Morning America.” But there is rancor behind the scenes. Strahan’s co-host, Kelly Ripa, was told of the move just minutes before the announcement, and felt blindsided. And she made little attempt to conceal her displeasure, skipping Wednesday’s edition on “Live.”
