Harris Niche Magazine Publisher Folds, Losing 85 Jobs

New York Post: Harris Publications, a 39-year-old publisher of mostly niche magazines, shocked its staffers on Thursday by suddenly announcing it was closing up shop. In all, 85 jobs will be lost. Harris publishes XXL, a hip-hop title, Naturally, Danny Seo, auto buff titles Rides and MoPar Action, as well as Celebrity Hairstyles, Fresh Quilts and an assortment of gun titles. Harris blamed the decline on the rise of digital media.
