Wall Street Journal: Kathy Savitt is said to be leaving the Hollywood studio STX Entertainment after joining the company last September. Savitt was named president of digital at STX last fall after a memorable stint as Yahoo’s head of media under embattled CEO Marissa Mayer. During her Yahoo tenure, Savitt helped Mayer steer the company toward making some big media bets, such as the acquisition of several TV-like scripted video series. Savitt also helped land Yahoo big name traditional media talent such as Katie Couric and former New York Times columnist David Pogue.
