Wall Street Journal: The rise of ad-blocking technologies is bad news for online publishers, particularly those who rely on advertising for large portions of their revenues. With that in mind Forbes has been experimenting with different ways to combat the problem. For the past couple of weeks, users with ad blockers turned on have received a new option: they can still access Forbes.com so long as they register for a Forbes account, providing personal information, or log in via Facebook or Google.
