Wall Street Journal: Facebook is now selling video ads on behalf of other companies, a move that could prove lucrative for the tech giant and intensify its competition with Google and other online ad specialists. The company said it will help marketers sell and place “in-stream” and “in-article” video ads across third-party websites and apps, including those operated by Daily Mail, Mashable and USA Today. Facebook will get an unspecified cut of the revenue.
