Mic Millennial News Startup Expands Into Food, Finance

Inc: Cory Haik is the new chief strategy officer at Mic, a fast-growing media startup based in New York City. Prior to this position, she worked with the digital teams at publications including the Seattle Times and the Washington Post. Things are looking well for Mic since its founding in 2011. Mic plans to unveil two new channels that cover topics in food and wealth. Food-related coverage is now available on Mic.com. The financial coverage vertical is expected to launch in July.
