Late Thursday, Tribune Publishing announced that it was changing its name to “Tronc” and moving to the Nasdaq from the New York Stock Exchange. Behind the change in name and stock exchange is the company’s focus on being a “content curation and monetization company.” The name change, which is meant to stand for “Tribune online content,” takes effect June 20.
