Time Inc’s New SI Editorial Head to Focus on Events

New York Post: Chris Stone, a veteran Time Inc. insider, was tapped on Thursday to be the new editorial director of the Sports Illustrated Group. One of Stone’s main jobs is to up the ante in live events. “Live events will be a very big part of the strategy going forward,” said Stone, who is succeeding Paul Fichtenbaum, who will step down from the top editorial job next month.
