Starz Names Operating Officer in Shift to Global Brand

Denver Business Journal: Starz, the premium cable TV network, has promoted Jeffrey Hirsch to chief operating officer and elevated David Weil to chief legal officer. The news comes a day after Michael Thornton, Starz’s chief revenue officer, announced he is resigning and just before longtime Starz president Glenn Curtis retires July 1. “We are transforming Starz into a more innovative global entertainment brand.”
