New York Post: Texture, dubbed the Netflix of the magazine world, is set to get a big boost when Apple clears it for in-app purchases through its iTunes store. Texture CEO John Loughlin said he expects to clear that hurdle by July 10, potentially unlocking a whole new base of customers. The company, formerly called Next Issue Media, allows subscribers to pay $9.99 a month to gain access to up to 200 magazines on digital devices.
