Viacom Investors Mull End Game for MTV, Paramount

TheStreet: If Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman departs, the big question for investors is what happens next. According to Porter Bibb of media investment firm Mediatech, the best option for Viacom is a sale to a company with enormous online distribution but badly in need of content. The most obvious candidates are Netflix, Amazon, Microsoft, Verizon, and even Apple. Viacom “will attract bidders.”
