New York Post: Over-the-top video is the future of television, CBS chief Les Moonves said Thursday at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in France. Moonves, who successfully pushed cable-TV providers to pay broadcast networks for carriage in the same way they do for cable channels, touted the company’s efforts to grow its own streaming service. “You will want to pay $5.99 to get ‘Star Trek’ and that will get the ball rolling.”
