MediaPost: There is no end in sight for the long secular decline in the newspaper and magazine publishing businesses, judging by the latest figures from the U.S. Census Bureau. Total U.S. newspaper publishing revenues fell 4.4% from $6.51 billion in the first quarter of 2015 to $6.22 billion in the first quarter of 2016.  U.S. magazine publishers saw total revenues fall from $6.66 billion to $6.36 billion.
