MTV, BET Host Live Town Hall After Week’s Shootings

USA Today: After a heartbreaking week rocked by the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile and an attack on Dallas police, MTV and BET hosted a live town hall Friday night. The event, airing from MTV’s Times Square studio, aimed to offer “an open forum of artists, activists and audience members discussing the issues underlying this latest round in a cycle of violence and tragedy in America.”
