Comcast-Time Warner’s Rotten Tomatoes Stirs Hollywood

Wall Street Journal: Hollywood’s latest obsession isn’t a star or a script but a number. Among younger people, scores from movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes have become a go-to indicator of quality. Rotten Tomatoes, which merged with online ticket seller Fandango earlier this year, is co-owned by Comcast’s Universal movie studio and Time Warner’s Warner Bros., but there have been no allegations of bias against it.
