Time Warner Buys 10 Percent Stake in Streaming TV’s Hulu

CNNMoney: Streaming TV service Hulu is gaining a fourth parent. Time Warner is paying about $580 million for a 10% stake in Hulu, the company announced Wednesday. Three other television channel owners — Disney, 21st Century Fox and Comcast — are the other parents of the nearly 10-year-old joint venture. The investment values Hulu at roughly $5.8 billion.
