Chicago Tribune: Tribune Media saw “substantial progress” in monetizing its $1 billion real estate portfolio during the second quarter. Los Angeles-based developer CIM Group is the front-runner to buy Tribune Tower in Chicago, offering between $240 million and $260 million for the Michigan Avenue landmark, according to sources familiar with discussions.
