Time Inc Sees Boost from Activist Investor Jana Partners

New York Post: Shares of beleaguered Time Inc. finished 5.6 percent higher on Monday after activist investor Barry Rosenstein’s Jana Partners revealed it had bought a 4.9 percent stake in the New York publisher. Jana bought 4.99 million shares at a cost of $62 million, it revealed in a regulatory filing.
