Google Unveils YouTube Video Hinting of New Smartphone

CNET: Google said it will hold a media event in San Francisco next month, where it is expected to unveil its new flagship phone. The Oct. 4 event was announced in a new YouTube video that showed the web giant’s familiar horizontal search bar slowly morphing into the outline of a vertical, phone-shaped rectangle.
