Viacom Interim CEO Dooley to Exit, Paramount Not for Sale

USA Today: Viacom, the media giant that has owns Paramount Pictures, MTV and Nickelodeon, said Wednesday interim CEO Tom Dooley is leaving, underscoring its controlling shareholders’ grip on the company following their recent conflict with management. The company said it is also no longer looking to sell a minority stake in Paramount Pictures, a strategy that had been pursued by its recently deposed CEO and Dooley’s predecessor, Philippe Dauman.
