Fox, Disney Want US Scrutiny of AT&T-Time Warner Deal

Financial Times: Time Warner’s CEO has cast AT&T’s proposed acquisition as a deal that should be “helped and supported” by rival media companies, because it will lead to the creation of new services that will benefit all content producers. Disney and 21st Century Fox have each said that the combination deserves to be closely scrutinized by regulators.
