Gawker Changes Tune, Blames Legal Battle on Former Editor

Wall Street Journal: Gawker Media, which has long defended its right to publish a video that showed wrestler Hulk Hogan having sex, is now blaming the ensuing legal battle on a former editor. In new bankruptcy papers, Gawker lawyers pointed to a Florida jury verdict to argue that publishing excerpts of the video in 2012 violated former editor in chief A.J. Daulerio’s employment terms.
