Hearst Starts Talks to Acquire Some of Time Inc’s Magazines

New York Post: Hearst execs are said to be interested in taking a peek at some pieces of the Time Inc. empire if it were to be bought and busted up. In particular, Hearst may take a look at Real Simple, InStyle and Cooking Light. Hearst’s interest allowed the three suitors who recently expressed interest to raise their offer.
