Fox TV Research Says Scripted Shows Grow to 455 in 2016

Wall Street Journal: Peak TV hasn’t peaked yet. The number of scripted television shows on broadcast, cable and digital platforms has grown 71% over the past five years, according to an analysis by 21st Century Fox’s FX Networks unit. In 2016, there were a record 455 scripted shows compared with 266 in 2011, according to FX.
