Allbritton’s Politico Names Investment Banker as CEO

Politico: Patrick Steel, an investment banker for the past 16 years at the firm of FBR Capital Markets & Co., has been named the next CEO of Politico. Owner Robert Allbritton, who has been filling the role since the departure of Jim VandeHei in early 2016, will return to his role as publisher and executive chairman.
