HuffPost Braces for Layoffs Amid Cuts from Verizon-Yahoo

BuzzFeed: The HuffPost newsroom is bracing for a round of layoffs this week. The cuts are said to be coming as early as Wednesday. Verizon, which owns HuffPost’s owner AOL, is preparing to make broader cuts at the company in the wake of Verizon’s acquisition of Yahoo, a deal which closed on Tuesday.
