New York Times: Not content with its place at the head of hundreds of thousands of breakfast tables, the New York Times set out 50 years ago to elbow its way into evening commutes and suppertime, too. New York Forum was a pilot afternoon newspaper produced by the Times under great secrecy in 1967.
