Daily Mail Owner Says No Plans to Sell Free Tabloid Metro

Financial Times: Lord Rothermere, the chairman of Daily Mail and General Trust, has told staff at the UK media group that it is not “actively considering any change to the ownership” of its free daily title Metro. The move comes after a report that the Evening Standard owner Evgeny Lebedev was one of a number of media tycoons interested in bidding for Metro.
