Vice Lays Off 23 Staffers After TV Deal Ends in Canada

Hollywood Reporter: Vice Media launched a round of layoffs in Canada after local partner Rogers Communications bowed out of a joint venture production deal, leaving its Viceland channel about to go off the air north or the border. A Vice Canada spokesman confirmed about 10 percent of a workforce of 200 was let go.
