Gawker Alum Launches New Site for Smart Commentary

CJR: Tom Scocca, a former Gawker and Deadspin editor, is launching Hmm Daily as part of the journalism startup Civil’s network of sites. He says he hopes the blog will s erve as “a continuation of the tradition of sites that give people the chance to write and to read things they can’t find other places.”
