Meredith to Cut Jobs Slowly to Hold Down Severance Costs

New York Post: Meredith is skipping out on filing WARN notices — in a sense managing the scale of its brutal layoffs so that it doesn’t have to pay out extra severance. Meredith, which is expected to reveal staff cuts of up to 300 people on Wednesday, is deliberately planning to roll out the cuts extra slowly to hold down severance costs.
