Netflix No Longer Able to Compete at Cannes Film Festival

New York Daily News: Netflix has been canned from Cannes. The director of the Cannes Film Festival said movies distributed by the streaming service are no longer eligible to compete in festivals. “The intransigence of their model is now the opposite of ours.”
