McClatchy Says News Coverage is Stronger Despite Downsizing

Washington Post: As Hurricane Florence devastates the Carolinas, the Raleigh News & Observer is a shadow of its former self, after layoffs and downsizing. But executive editor Robyn Tomlin insists: “We’re going to be 100 percent better.” Reporting will be supplemented by journalists from seven other McClatchy newspapers in the Carolinas.
