Hearst to Acquire Another Local TV Station in New England

TV Spy: Hearst has announced the purchase of WPXT, the CW affiliate in Portland, Maine, from Ironwood Communications. Hearst already owns WMTW, the ABC affiliate in the market. “WPXT is a natural fit for our portfolio and enhances our ability to serve the community.”
