Amazon Hikes Staffer Minimum Wage to $15 as Bezos Blinks

Bloomberg: Jeff Bezos blinked. Bowing to political pressure and a tightening labor market, he announced plans to raise the minimum wage for Amazon employees in the U.S. and U.K. Effective Nov. 1, the company will offer $15 an hour to more than 250,000 employees along with 100,000 seasonal workers.
