AT&T Unlikely to Make Smartphone Game from ‘Star is Born’

Bloomberg: Warner Bros.’s “A Star is Born” is expected to turn a tidy profit. But it may not be enough for new Warner Bros. owner AT&T. No one is expecting a smartphone game. “If you cede that big-budget franchise to Disney, the problem is there isn’t that much left to support a meaningfully additive business for AT&T.”
