Fox’s Murdoch Son is ‘Absentee Manager’ at News Channel

Vanity Fair: In May, Rupert Murdoch named Lachlan, his elder son, chairman and CEO of “New Fox.” Lachlan has so far been content to be a caretaker rather than an empire builder. Lachlan mostly is an absentee manager, choosing to work from the company’s Los Angeles office.
