GateHouse Media to Eliminate Role of Chief Operating Officer

Boston Business Journal: Peter Newton, who had been with GateHouse for almost seven years, left his job as chief operating officer earlier this month. His position has been eliminated. GateHouse owns dozens of small weekly and daily newspapers.
