CBS Streaming Service Wants to Save Series Cancelled by Netflix

The Cut: The fight to save “One Day at a Time” has hit some snags, but it’s not over quite yet. While the canceled Netflix sitcom remains a long shot to survive, producer Sony Pictures Television has had conversations with multiple outlets about ways to keep the series alive — and has now fielded an official pickup offer from at least one platform.
