CBS Plans ‘Evening News’ Move to DC to Capitalize on Trump

Vanity Fair: CBS is positioning the move of the “Evening News” broadcast to Washington, which will take place this fall, as a way to capitalize on the fireworks of the Trump era while differentiating the show from its competitors. About a dozen “Evening News” jobs are expected to be based there.
