Digital First Bids for Pennsylvania’s Reading Eagle Newspaper

Reading Eagle: MediaNews Group has made the sole qualified bid for the assets of the Reading Eagle newspaper. In a statement to employees CEO Peter Barbey, said: “Since there is only one qualified bid, the auction has been cancelled. The qualified bid has neither been accepted nor rejected.”
