GateHouse-Gannett Newspaper Deal at Risk as Shares Plunge

New York Post: A $1.4 billion deal to buy USA Today owner Gannett has been so poorly received since it was announced that execs from both Gannett and wannabe buyer New Media Investment are hitting the road next week in bid to garner support. If they don’t succeed, the deal could be derailed.
