Disney Streaming Chief Emerges as Candidate to Succeed CEO

Bloomberg:  Kevin Mayer, 57, is leading Disney’s charge into online TV, with the Nov. 12 launch of Disney+. If Mayer is successful, Disney could become a significant rival to streaming pioneer Netflix. It could also make him the prime candidate to succeed CEO Bob Iger, who’s due to retire in two years.
