Vox Media to Cut 200 Bloggers Over California Gig-Worker Law

New York Times:  More than 200 bloggers in California will lose regular writing gigs because of a state law meant to improve working conditions at companies like Uber and Lyft that rely on contractors rather than employees. On Monday, Vox Media announced that it would eliminate 200 freelance positions.
