Gray Television Makes $8.5 Billion Offer to Acquire Tegna

Reuters:  Gray Television has made an offer to acquire larger TV station group Tegna for approximately $8.5 billion. A successful bid by Gray would significantly expand its footprint in several TV markets. TV advertising budgets have been in decline.
